Joie de vivre.

To be honest, I don’t really know this man very well but I can tell you he is one strong man. Mr. Blair was a well respected physics teacher and one of the nicest individuals you’ll ever meet. Unfortunately, today was his last day teacher until further notice because he is in risk of having throat cancer and this was devastating to hear especially since cancer stole his wife away not too long ago. In honor of Mr. Blair, EV dedicated today just for him and this man couldn’t be happier. Although going through all of this tragedy, this man seemed like he had won the lottery. As he walked out to the quad this afternoon, applause was in the air, as everyone gathered around to commeroate everything that he has done for us. Posters were made, speeches were given, balloons flying, and many many hugs and good-byes were given. It seemed like his life was going on such a great decline but when the administrator gave him the microphone, he announced to everyone, “I’m the luckiest man in the world.” And that was just so touching, tears were slowly dripping from my face and all the times we complain about the smallest things, this man seems content with whatever roadblock he has to overcome.
My deepest prayers go out to Mr. Blair, and I wish for only the best.
